Rigsum Gonpo - Lords of the Three Families

Original unbrocaded thangka, of the “Lords of the Three Families” (Tib. Rigsum Gonpo), depicting Four-armed Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri and Vajrapani. Unique composition from the Studio of Sunlal Ratna, who I consider to be the finest living thangka painter in the Kathmandu Valley. I have collected as much of Sunlal’s work as I could over the last fifteen years, virtually all of which appears on my website. His work is never available in any of the many ‘thangka shops’ in Nepal, and individual compositions cannot be ordered.
